Welcome to the new website. My brain dump this morning included a computer (working on this website and lesson plans among other things), some sketches of upcoming artwork, and a VERY long to do list which grew roots to show that it has planted itself here and continues to grow.
School starts back for teachers next week, and I spent all of this past week at Middle Tennessee State University at the Tennessee Arts Academy, so I am feeling rushed, but at the same time I have so many ideas bursting in my head from the ideas we explored this week that I cannot sit still.
Top of my to do list: laundry, lesson plans, and PAINTING base layers!
I like to do a full, two page spead in the mornings to dump what is in my brain, It helps me prioritize and figure out where to start my day; especially on days when I have a lot of ideas or tasks bouncing around in my head.
My To Do List has grown roots and planted itself here on the first page to remind me that there is more to be done than I can possibly accomplish today, but I can take it one task at a time.
This page today became a montage of ideas that I want to include in the Capas de Memorias collection. I love palm trees. I have a palm tree tattoo on my forearm that wasa Christmas gift from my oldest son several years ago. I also have this ancestral ceremonial dancer and Mayan Ruins, including the Temple of Seven Dolls and the ruins of Cozumel.
